4th of July

For 4th of July the kids were in the parade on Southport at Aiden's school. First they decorated bikes(or Tori and I did) then they were off to pedal away in the parade. Only it was EXTREMELY hot so the kids were melting down and the parade was cut short, thank goodness. Evie didn't make it he whole way so I ended up carrying her bike while Josh carried her. Aiden was a trooper and did the whole thing, but we were all hot. Then we went back to the Ward's house and cooled off before we headed home for naps. I wiped up a couple things, one being the yummy strawberries, and then we went back to the Ward's house for a cook out. The kids had a blast running around and playing and adults had fun chatting away. We did some sparklers on the deck to complete the night. We had a blast! It was very fun to hang out with good friends and relax. A couple of the pics are of the kids and the crafts we did at home. We made flags for the holiday. I think they did a great job. Enjoy the pics
