August 26th was the first day of Preschool for Evie and the first day of 1st grade for Aiden.  The night before, the kids had to search their rooms for a special gift.  Evie got Rainbow Loom and Aiden got a Football game.  Then we read 2 stories- The Night before Preschool and The Night before First Grade. Kids were in bed by 7:30.  They got up and Aiden was dressed right away.  They ate breakfast and Evie seemed a little nervous about what to expect.  Then we all loaded into 2 cars(since Josh was leaving to head to work) and made our way to Blaine.  We took Aiden to his line and he saw a bunch of buddies.  I then walked Evie over to her door.  We went right up and gave Mrs. Gonzalez a hug and Evie walked right in. I snapped a pic of her sitting on the bench.  No tears and seemed good.  Me on the other hand, I was a hot mess!  Hard to see her see her go, going to miss the chatter box in the mornings.  Aiden got a pic with his buddy Bodi and then they headed in.  So hard to say goodbye but they both had great days and did well.  We celebrated and got ice cream at the end of the day with Aiden's friend Jack McDonald.  Looking forward to a great year.  Enjoy the pics!
