The Winkler's: July 2013

On July 3rd we were invited to The Ward's lake house in Saugatuck, MI. When we got there the kids wanted to hit the beach right away so we loaded up the golf cart and headed over. Kids had fun riding the big rafts and playing in the water. Then we headed back for hot tub time and dinner time. Greg fired up the campfire so the kids could do s'mores after dinner. Once they crashed, the adults finally had some uninterrupted conversations. The next morning the kids were up bright and early to hit the beach again. Then we went boating for the rest of the day. We boated to the sand dunes and the kids ran up and down the dune and swam in the water. They were beat on the way back. We hosed them down when we got home and got dinner ready. After dinner the kids wanted to shoot off the fireworks that Greg and Josh picked up. They LOVED them! They had no problem falling right to sleep. We all had such a good time with good friends.
