Christmas Day

Christmas morning Aiden woke us up at 7:15.  Josh went down with him, while us girls slept for a bit longer.  We finally got Evie up since Aiden really wanted to open gifts.  The chaos began around 8:30.  We tried to be organized about it but the kids just tore into the stockings.  We then let them open all their big gifts from Santa.  Aiden really like his train and his shoulder pads.  Evie loved her scooter and mickey mouse farm.  We then took a break and ate breakfast.  After breakfast Josh and I opened our gifts from Santa.  The kids helped us, Aiden played Santa while Evie helped us open them.  Laney sat in the middle of us and you could hear her snoring:)  Was a fun morning with great memories.  Laney got some stocking stuffers too since she has been such a good girl:)  The kids really wanted to play outside in the snow so we bundled them up and sent them outside.  They stayed outside for about an hour.  Once they got in, Evie took a long Christmas nap while Aiden and Josh put together some of the new toys.  Then Karen came over around 5.  We ate dinner with the kids and then watched the polar express till the kids went to bed.  Us adults tried to stay up and watch The Family Man but we all started falling asleep:)  Was a great day and feel truly blessed this holiday season.  Laney is our little miracle.  God is good enjoy the pics.

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we went to church at 5.  Before we left the kids wrote letters to Santa.  After church, we headed over to Aunt Sara and Uncle Scott's for dinner.  Scott prepared the BEST tenderloin I have ever had.  It was like butter in our mouths and we all think that Evie had at least 6 slices.  She loved it too.  We all couldn't get enough.  Kids had green Christmas wreaths and then we headed home to get ready for Santa.  The kids quickly showered and got PJs on.  Then they got the cookies, milk and letter all ready for Santa.  Once they were in bed, Josh and I got to work.  Josh was busy putting together Aiden's new desk while I filled the stockings and wrapped the last of the gifts.  We were able to get in bed by midnight and fell fast asleep.  Enjoy the pics

Winkler Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with The Winklers this past weekend.  It was a joy to also to have Grandma Dawson come in and celebrate the holiday with us:)  On Friday, Scott and Sara had us all over for cookie decorating and pizza.  Unfortunately Aiden was sick so I stayed back with Aiden and Laney while Josh and Evie went to enjoy all the festives.  The next day Josh took Grandma Dawson over to see Doug and Tiffs house.  Then when they got back Aiden and Gigi went thru a lot of old pics while I prepped some food for the day.  Then the party began around 4!  We all enjoyed some apps, opened gifts and then had a family dinner.  After dinner the kids watched a movie while the adults played a game of LCR!  The next day we went to church and then all went to brunch.  It was a great a weekend!  Enjoy the pics.

We went to the zoo lights with the Quinn Family and the McPartlin Family.  The kids sipped on hot chocolate while the adults had some wine.   We saw the apes, seals and visited the lions(where Santa was).  The kids all got to ride the train and all the babies slept the entire visit.  Great time with good friends enjoy the pics
