Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve we headed to church then to Scott and Sara's for dinner.  Scott made his famous tenderloin again and the kids had fun running around.  After we ate, we headed home to get ready for Santa.  The kids put the reindeer food out on the deck, put the cookies and milk out along with the letters they had written to Santa.  They went right to bed since they knew they needed to sleep in order for Santa to come.  Josh was tracking Santa on his phone all night at dinner so the kids knew he was close:)  The next morning they were up at 7:15 and ready to open gifts.  Aiden wanted to read his letter right away.  Gifts were open in record time this year:)  They got lots of fun things from santa.  Aiden has not stopped playing with his cargo terminal.  That by far was/is his favorite gift.  He never got out of his PJ's all day:) Evie loved her Doc McStuffins dress up and her dolls.  They played all day and Eli and Jane stopped by to see all the gifts the kids got.  Once they left, we had Christmas dinner.  We are truly blessed and had such a wonderful day celebrating Jesus birthday.  God bless us all:)

St Joe Christmas

We went to MI to celebrate with the family.  Friday night we had ham dinner and the kids painted cookies.  Sat morning the kids acted out the Christmas story-Aiden was the King, Eli-Joseph, Evie-Mary, Jane-Angel, Laney-sheep, Annie-sheep and Mateo was baby Jesus.  They did a great job.  Then the kids tore open all the gifts and had fun playing with all of them.  Then it was the adults turn to open gifts.  Sunday we went to church then had lunch.  When we got home from MI the kids were eager to make cookies for Santa.  So we made them and frosted them.  They did a great job:)

Kids Performances

Aiden's school performance was Dec. 17th.  We all went and sang most the songs with him.  Evie's was on Dec 19th where she sang all the songs with her classmates and did all the motions.  Some great pics of both performances

Santa

We went and saw Santa on Dec 10th.  We picked Aiden up from school and headed downtown to Bloomingdales where Santa was eagerly awaiting us.  Aiden had his list ready and Evie had no problem telling Santa all the Doc McStuffins things she wanted and Princess dolls. Laney loved him as well:)

Crafts

The kids painted Christmas trees.  I painted their hands and then they put the prints on the page.  Then they wanted to paint some other Christmas trees.  Fun holiday projects.
